The Limit Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDE F FGHEHEI CAN stand for the man with the cute little bow | A |
On the back of his green colored hat | B |
For there are a lot of good fellows I know | C |
Who somehow have fallen for that | B |
The fedora of plush is a lid I don't like | D |
It's a fad that will never be missed | E |
But somehow I've always an itching to strike | D |
The man with the watch on his wrist | E |
- | |
I've grown peevish at times at the ladylike man | F |
Who says 'Mercy me ' and 'O dear ' | - |
And the chap in the ball room who uses a fan | F |
Is the chap I could swat on the ear | G |
The swell with a cane in the crotch of his arm | H |
Isn't human I often insist | E |
But some day somebody is going to harm | H |
The man with the watch on his wrist | E |
