The Cure Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEGCHCH

When you can't get her out of your head young manA
And you hate what you have to doB
And you shirk every task that you find you canA
And the others you hurry throughB
When all you can see is the time to quitC
I know how each symptom goesD
There's only one way to get over itC
The next time you see her proposeD
-
When you think when you're called to the telephoneE
That hers is the voice you'll hearF
And because it isn't you sigh and groanE
When you find that your brain's not clearG
And you can't add figures or write a bitC
When the columns are all awhirlH
There's only one way to get over itC
And that is to marry the girlH
