Somebody Else Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGHGHIJIJ KLKLMJMJABAB

Somebody wants a new bonnet to wearA
Somebody wants a new dressB
Somebody needs a new bow for her hairA
And never the wanting grows lessB
Oh this is the reason I labor each dayC
And this is the joy of my tasksD
That deep in the envelope holding my payC
Is something that somebody asksD
I could go begging for water and breadE
And travel the highways of easeF
But somebody wants a roof over his headE
And stockings to cover his kneesF
I could go shirking the duties of lifeG
And laugh when necessity pleadsH
But rather I stand to the toil and the strifeG
To furnish what somebody needsH
Somebody wants what I've strength to supplyI
And somebody's waiting for meJ
To come home to night with money to buyI
Her bread and her cake and her teaJ
And as I am strong so her laughter will ringK
And as I am true she will smileL
It's the somebody else of the toiler or kingK
That makes all the struggle worth whileL
Somebody needs all the courage I ownM
And somebody's trust is in meJ
For never a man who can go it aloneM
Whatever his station may beJ
So I stand to my task and I stand to my careA
And struggle to come to successB
For the ribbons to tie up somebody's hairA
And my somebody's pretty new dressB
