My big brother will git you fer thatA
He'll shine up your eye and he'll step on your hatA
You'd better watch out in the mornin' for heB
Will be lookin' fer you jes' for pickin' on meB
You can slap me an' cuff meB
An' bully an' bluff meB
But I ain't alone in this worldC
There's anotherD
That you've got to meetE
When you're out in the streetE
Who will fix you fer certain an' that's my big brotherD
-
My big brother can clean up with twoF
Or sixteen or eighteen big cowards like youF
An' you'd better be careful coz when he's aroundG
With only one hand he'll knock you to the groundG
When I tell what you didH
He'll say ' That's all right kidH
I'll just send him bawling back home to his mother '-
If you're looking for fightI
You will get it all rightI
The very next time that you meet my big brotherD
-
'My big brother ' I heard it to day as I passed down the streetE
And it brought back to me many memories sweetE
Of the days long ago when my big brother tooF
Did for me what he threatened his brother would doF
When he finished my fightsJ
And he stood for my rightsJ
With a strength I believed that no rival could smotherD
And I chuckled with joyK
And I thought ' Lucky boy '-
For I know what it means to possess a big brotherD
