Human Failings Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDCEFGFH

RECKON when our days are doneA
And God takes up our record sheets And sees the battles we have won He'll want to read of our defeatsB
Our little failings He will viewC
And gaze at us with kindly smileD
And maybe say 'I see that youC
Have faltered every little while 'E
I reckon that he'll like to seeF
The blots and blemishes betweenG
The splendid works of you and meF
To learn how human we have beenH
