Hubbard And Pelletier Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDEC FGFHIH DJD KL DM MNON

TWO long haired friends at table satA
And sipped some old SauterneB
And each one sought throughout the chatA
The other's tricks to learnB
'I see some dandruff on your coat 'C
To Elbert whispered RoyD
Said Elbert clearing out his throatE
'That's genius my boy 'C
-
'A goodly crop of hair you own '-
To Roy then quoth the sageF
'Mine had not quite so bushy grownG
When I was at your ageF
I like the way you brush it backH
'Tis pleasing to the eyeI
But one thing I perceive you lackH
And that's a flowing tie '-
-
'Why wear you such an awful thing '-
Then questioned Roy the FraD
'Because it is distinguishingJ
And men know who you areD
The hair and tie have marked me well '-
In confidence he spakeK
'And Elbert Hubbard all can tellL
Where'er my way I take '-
-
Not far from where this famous pairD
Were chatting sat a crowdM
Said one 'That's Elbert Hubbard there '-
The voice was fairly loudM
'Which one ' exclaimed another thenN
In still a higher pitchO
'The long haired one ' he said againN
Said he 'I know but which '-
