Our thoughts have turned from dens and domes | E |

Without a closet for the broom | H |
And mine will dreary be and sour | G |
Unless the bathroom has a shower | G |
- | |
For months and months we've sat and dreamed | I |
Of paneled walls and ceilings beamed | I |
And built in cases for the books | J |
An attic room to be the cook's | J |
No house will she consent to view | K |
Unless it has a sun room too | K |
- | |
There must be wash bowls here and there | L |
To save much climbing of the stair | L |
A sleeping porch we both demand | M |
This fad has swept throughout the land | M |
And Oh 'twill give her heart a wrench | N |
Not to possess a few doors French | N |
- | |
I want to dig and walk around | O |
At least full fifty feet of ground | O |
She wants the latest style in tubs | P |
I want more room for trees and shrubs | P |
And a garage with light and heat | Q |
That can be entered from the street | Q |
- | |
The trouble is the things we seek | R |
Cannot be bought for ten a week | R |
And all the joys for which we sigh | S |
Are just too rich for us to buy | S |
We have the taste to cut a dash | T |
The thing we're lacking most is cash | T |
