Fishing Reasons Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGHGHIJIJ KLKLAMAMGEGE

Fish can be bought in the market placeA
So it isn't the fish I'm afterB
I want to get free from the care drawn faceA
And back to an honest laughterB
I want to get out where the skies are cleanC
And rest by a river's brinkD
I want to get out where the woods are greenC
And I want a few hours to thinkD
Oh it isn't the fish I am greedy forE
It's the chatter and song of birdsF
And the talk of trees that I've known beforeE
I am weary of selfish wordsF
I want to stretch out just my soul and IG
In a place from the strife afarH
And let a few care filled hours pass byG
As I think of the things that areH
Oh it isn't the fish that I go to getI
Though there's joy in a swishing lineJ
And a splendid thrill when my grip I setI
And a small mouthed bass is mineJ
But my soul seems cramped in the stifling airK
That is heavy with talk of gainL
And I want to get out where the world is fairK
And there isn't so much of painL
Fish can be bought in the market placeA
But I long for the running streamsM
And I want to be free from the care drawn faceA
And the city of dreadful dreamsM
I want to stretch out just my soul and IG
On a sun kissed river shoreE
And be as a few mad hours rush byG
The man that I am once moreE
