Dinner-time Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFEGHFH AIJIAKAKLMNM ADADDDDDFOFO

Tuggin' at your bottleA
An' it's O you're mighty sweetB
Just a bunch of dimplesC
From your top knot to your feetB
Lying there an' gooin'D
In the happiest sort o' wayE
Like a rosebud peekin' at meF
In the early hours o' dayE
Gloating over goodnessG
That you know an' sense an' clutchH
An' smilin' at your daddyF
Who loves you O so muchH
-
Tuggin' at your bottleA
As you nestle in your cribI
With your daddy grinnin' at youJ
'Cause you've dribbled on your bibI
An' you gurgle an' you chortleA
Like a brook in early SpringK
An' you kick your pink feet gaylyA
An' I think you'd like to singK
All you wanted was your dinnerL
Daddy knew it too you betM
An' the moment that you got itN
Then you ceased to fuss an' fretM
-
Tuggin' at your bottleA
Not a care excepting whenD
You lose the rubber nippleA
But you find it soon againD
An' the gurglin' an' the gooin'D
An' the chortlin' start anewD
An' the kickin' an' the squirmin'D
Show the wondrous joy o' youD
But I'll bet you're not as happyF
At your dinner little totO
As the weather beaten daddyF
Who is bendin' o'er your cotO
