Arcady Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Where is the road to ArcadyA
Where is the path that leads to peaceB
Where shall I find the bliss to beC
Where shall the weary wanderings ceaseB
These are the questions that come to meC
Where is the road to ArcadyA
-
Is there a mystic time and placeD
To which some day shall the traveler fareE
Where there is never a frowning faceD
And never a burden hard to bearE
Where we as children shall romp and raceD
Is there a mystic time and placeD
-
For Arcady is an earthly sphereF
Where only the gentlest breezes blowG
A port of rest for the weary hereH
Where the velvet grass and the clover growG
I question it oft is it far or nearF
For Arcady is an earthly sphereF
-
And the answer comes it is very nearF
It's there at the end of a little streetA
Where your children's voices are ringing clearF
And you catch the patter of little feetA
Where is the spot that is never drearF
And the answer comes it is very nearF
-
For each man buildeth his ArcadyA
And each man fashions his Port of RestA
And never shall earth spot brighter beC
Than the little home that with peace is blessedA
So seek it not o'er the land and seaC
For each man buildeth his ArcadyA
