Answering The Grumblers Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCC DDEEFF GGEED HHIIJJ KKLLAA MNAADO

When night time comes an' I can goA
Back to the folks who love me soA
An' see 'em smile an' hear 'em singB
An' feel their kisses then by jingB
I vow this world is mighty fineC
An' run upon a great designC
-
I trudge away at break o' dayD
An' hear the grumblers round me sayD
This world ain't what it ought to beE
With so much care an' miseryE
An' so much work for all to doF
An' little comfort when you're throughF
-
But all the time I'm thinkin' ofG
The faces of the ones I loveG
An' every minute I can seeE
Their bright eyes laughing right at meE
An' I can almost hear 'em sayD
Come home come home an' we will play '-
-
An' sometimes when the daily grindH
Sends bitter thoughts into my mindH
An' I get thinkin' that of careI
I draw far more than is my shareI
I hear 'em hum their merry songJ
An' then I know such thoughts are wrongJ
-
I never doubt this world is goodK
I couldn't doubt it if I wouldK
For all the trouble that I meetL
I gather compensation sweetL
When night time comes an' I can goA
Back to the folks who love me soA
-
It ain't no use for grumblers hereM
To tell me that this life's severeN
To say this world's a vale of woeA
For I've got proof that it ain't soA
When wearily I trudge awayD
They're whisperin' whisperin' 'Soon we'llO
play '-
