About Boys Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFEGHIJKLML

Show me the boy who never threwA
A stone at someone's catB
Or never hurled a snowball swiftC
At someone's high silk hatB
Who never ran away from schoolD
To seek the swimming holeE
Or slyly from a neighbor's yardF
Green apples never stoleE
Show me the boy who never brokeG
A pane of window glassH
Who never disobeyed the signI
That says 'Keep off the grass 'J
Who never did a thousand thingsK
That grieve us sore to tellL
And I'll show you a little boyM
Who must be far from wellL
