Poet's note: It's January 2021 and I keep hearing and seeing lots of saddening occurrences happening all around, in addition to the covid 19 pandemic that has shut the world down. The whole thing feels like, for every passing second, there's somebody somewhere shedding tears of sorrow and getting sorely depressed. So I put myself in their shoes and roll out the words that might have inundated their fragile hearts. I just hope the words of these poem provide some sort of comfort and healing.
