I Too Stuff My Mind Daily Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCBBCDAEFGHIJKLACB M N LBOOCPBFQF MBRBBAOFS

Like all I too stuff my mind dailyA
With chapters of philosophyA
The great have left behindB
I console myselfC
With spiritual lessons of the GitaB
Lord Krishna has taught the timidB
I do reconcile myselfC
With adverse circumstancesD
That traumatize and bother meA
I accept and affirmE
Whatever bad happensF
Lasts no longer and evaporatesG
I strive seeking a soothing shelterH
In metaphysical musingsI
In comforting bosomJ
Of the Absolute BeingK
When painful troubles pourL
And befall everywhere in meA
However hard I try to tranquilize myselfC
My mind stressed agonizedB
My heart beating the drum of restlessnessM
-
Nothing cures my anguished soulN
-
When nothing works and it jerks moreL
I finally throw down the gauntletB
To the CaptainO
In cursing Him hidden in playful heavenO
I feel comforted by myselfC
Despite the agonizing turmoilP
I then believe in potentialityB
Of my ill luck or misfortunesF
In a positive and encouraging wayQ
Making fun of all misfortunesF
-
Lo and behold Out of weaknessM
Of my sunken heartB
Comes up my inner strengthR
And courage musteredB
To deal with the evil treatmentB
Ruthlessly meted out to meA
I am led by the ultimate impressionO
All beliefs gods and goddesses sermonsF
Are just gewgaws to scare the weak heartsS
