Biography of Abdul Karim Kargbo
Since I finished Secondary School I started putting pen to paper in a way I cannot myself fathumb. Not until I won a national poem competition in my country organized by European Union. My prices were a bag with pens, books, ruler and I think some little cash I cannot remember how much. But one thing that gave me so much pride in what I deed was when I saw my poem being published in one of the local tabloids. I felt and still feel I am a poet. Though, I know, I know not much but enough to put my ideas together and express them through libes and stanzas with rhythmic patterns rhyme schemes.I am a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Courts of Sierra Leone. Of my 6 but 4 years of practise I have never felt so fulfilled amidst all odds until today when I found out I could make my works mine and share with the world my thoughts of insanity for the sake of humanity.
