Javier Ángel Encinas Bardem (Spanish pronunciation: [xaˈβjeɾ βaɾˈðen]; born 1 March 1969) is a Spanish actor. He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as the psychopathic assassin Anton Chigurh in the Coen Brothers' modern western drama film No Country for Old Men (2007).
