I was born in Kenya in the early 1990's to both Ugandan parents who we working as casual works in Kenya. My mother never went to school and my father got the least of education only stopping in primary six. My father never really knew his own father until he was 11 yrs when he was forced to recall a funeral they had attended with his mother three years earlier. And that's the only memory of his father he has lived with all his life, a funeral. My whole life has poetry. I was born a poem. I write my soul, my mind. I write me.
