The Earths Sovereign Riddle

Olute Aete

If the Earth were my dear old uncle's right,
I'd surely tease and cause a humerous fright.
I'd rearrange the continents, oh what fun,
Swap Africa with Asia, to baffle everyone!

I'd make mountains dance and rivers run amok,
Creating chaos with an impish touch of luck.
Taunting people with tickling earthquakes so grand,
Leaving them wondering in bewildered lands.

But hold on a second, let's flip the coin,
Imagine if the Earth was owned by someone overjoiced,
A landlord with greed, a devilish grin,
Chaos and mayhem, the world would be in.

They'd charge fees for sunlight, selling air for a dime,
Tax the birds for singing a sweet melody chime.
The clouds would be auctioned, rain now a luxury,
Leaving us thirsting, in desperate agony.

Oh, the terror and torment we would face,
If Earth was handled by such a greedy brace.
But fear not, my friend, let's keep it light,
For the Earth belongs to the Lord, in all its might.

In laughter and jest, we find a way,
To appreciate the world we have today.
So let's cherish this planet, with its wondrous scenes,
And delight in the beauty that nature convenes.
