Africa United

Olute Aete

In the streets of Nairobi, a chorus of voices rise,
Crying out against an electoral fraud, a blatant guise,
As if a cruel thief had crept in, and stolen their very souls,
Officials cheating, the people robbed, their rights in tolls.

Meddlers from the western world interfere, like a meddling storm,
Claiming to guide, but their track record leaves us torn,
Having colonized, looted, and taken, they arrogantly scoff,
As our nation crumbles, as our people bear the weight of the rough.

Brothers shed blood in despair, as if we forgot our bond,
While the white man profits without care, their hands, beyond,
Ever seeking wealth and never satisfied, like a void that cannot fill,
They will cause chaos to keep the pie, with no thought of goodwill.

It's time for the African man to take a stand, like a beacon of hope,
To fight for our rights, our precious land, to help our brethren to cope,
We must break free from the Western chain; this is a quest we must undertake,
And never grant them permission to cause pain, a commitment we must not forsake.

Leaders who aid in our nation's loot, like shadowy thieves in the night,
Must be brought to justice, and justice will be made right,
We'll cut them down, if it takes that, to rid ourselves of their selfish stakes,
To end the rule of the unjust, the corrupt, and all those who deceive with fake.

It's time for Africa to rise and shine, like a phoenix from the ashes,
To unite and fight for our common line, to conquer the darkness that clashes,
We'll break free from the Western curse, painting our future with vibrant hues,
And build a prosperous tomorrow, that's equitable and just, as we pay our dues.

From Cape to Cairo, a roar will rise, like the call of a mighty lion,
As one, we'll speak truth to power's lies, with a voice that's both clear and sonorous,
For our destinies are intertwined, our futures, we'll no longer leave behind,
We'll rise up together, hand in hand, forging a future that's bright and wondrous.

An Africa united, equitable and just, like a symphony that's in tune,
A beacon of hope, for all of us, shining all throughout the afternoon,
Our strengths combined, we'll stand tall, like a mighty fortress, we won't fall,
Success, ours to have, failure, none at all, moving forward, answering wisdom's call.

And so, we stand, determined as ever, like a dream that's about to come true,
Undeterred by fear, resolve unshaken forever, like a warrior who knows what to do,
For Africa is our pride, our joy, our glory, like a river that flows pure and true,
This, we'll defend, as we tell you our story, like a phoenix reborn, in a quest that's new.
