The Folly Of A Fool
"As snow in summer,
And as rain in harvest,
So is honour not,
Seemly for a fool.
A whip for the horse,
A briddle for an ass,
And a rod for a fools back,
That loathes instruction.
The legs of the lame,
Are not equal,
So also are the words,
In a fools mouth.
As a dog return,
To its forsaken vomit,
So do a fool,
To his folly return.
A prating fool,
Shall surely fall,
As he detested,
Wisdom and knowledge.``
