I Am Not The Best

I Am Not The Best
By William Lee Swafford

I am not the best.
But I can promise you that I will love you better than any other can.
I will be good to you in every way.
And promise you my heart and never leave your side.
You can always count on me.
If you need a shoulder to cry on.
Or someone to laugh with or about I will be your clown.
But most of all I will be the love you never had the one you will always want the one you can't live without.
