Free Us Freeman

Mister,
O sorry
His excellency
I apologise
For your no excellence.
We're locked here in darkness
We don't talk anymore
Our tongues are tied
Your hand is long enough
Mine short and controlled
Only to show you
In the light where you are
That we need freedom;

I saw a long line of green clothed men
In armed vehicle convoy
Chasing after you
Pointing at country children
As if they owe you debts:
Am too afraid
But no!
Free us freeman
The power is ours all
Not yours alone.
