Know God ……. 1

Keenly going back into history,
Bible in hands ready to peruse ready,
Connected be with God every day,
More of the LORD wants to know.

Out of nothing the light appeared,
Earth, sky and sea were formed,
In God’s likeness human beings were created,
More of the LORD wants to know.

Abraham without child great descendant promised,
Whole lives trusting lived believing in God,
Miracle in old age Sarah a son conceived,
More of the LORD wants to know.

Captives oppressed many years land of Egyptians,
10 plagues only released to the Egyptians,
Finally sent out with gold the Israelites,
More of the LORD wants to know.

Through the red sea a way was made,
In front of them pillar of cloud and fire,
From heaven manna and quails for everyone,
More of the LORD wants to know.

Israelite's sinned rejecting the true LORD,
Worshiping gold bull calf as their god,
Didn’t bring on His people disaster threatened,
More of the LORD wants to know.

Each day into wickedness enter more sinning
Despise our terrible sinning into His kingdom welcoming,
And His merciful forever in us enduring,
More of the LORD wants to know.
