Det er saa liflig Hvile
iblandt at lytte stille
til kvindesyngne Sange
om Sol og gyldne Spange
og Skovens vevre Kilde,
om Livets lyse Længsel
og Hjærtets unge Kvide,
enfoldige smaa Sange,
hvis Ord er muntre, bange
og alle sammen blide.
