Nations and Continents apart
as rivers of bloodshed
triggered by a microbe;
flows faster like a watershed
to all walks of life
caressing tears
to all haves and have not's.

Terror evoked in microseconds
as a ghost arise in amidst of magicians
headache to painkiller manufacturers
a living nightmare to Christians
counting down seconds
upon anticipation of two millenniums
to see his triumph as he renege.

Unrest against elites all over!
for their hunger of silver and gold
accused of being a flock of dark horses
drama never cease to unfold
as a plague taught the world, hygiene
with no regard of race
at last lemons evolved as protein of the week.

wonder I wondered like a wanderer
in search of conspiracy theories
to read between the lines of this calamity
coding event by event in my diaries
meant for the unborn generation
a torch bearer against ignorance
only wishing it disappears out of the blue.

Poet's note: "OUT OF THE BLUE" is a poem written in March 2020, dedicated to the entire globe as it focuses on the pandemic (Corona Virus) that just occur in a middle of no where and other issues across the world. As you go through the stanzas you will see that, political unrest has been talked about, describing how people have stood against corruption. it is just everywhere in a blink of time. The poem is a plea, wish and desire that all this calamity should vanish out of the blue and harmony should prevail.
