As was practiced by disciples of old 10
O shepherds shooing the sheep to doom!
Behold the prayer of Jesus in John 17:16-26. Repent and renounce the gospel of gossiping other churches
But better preach the gospel of truth in Christ Jesus
Since only in that shall we meet salvation15
O sloven shepherds shooing the sheep to doom!
Behold the disciples of old and learn your roles,
Behold how Paul prayed for the people
He was shepherding and do same
Behold how he pleaded with the people to live a holy life. 20
O shepherds who studied shepherding,
Shepherd us by the directives of the holy writ
Jettison your doctrines and teach us His doctrines
Those who have ears should hear
What the spirit's saying to the shepherds. 25

Poet's note: This poem was written in 2018 as reaction to the preaching of some of today's churches whom instead of preaching the gospel of salvation, they go on preaching the gospel of gossiping about the practice of other churches as the results of their doctrinal difference. And the poet comments on Some practices which some churches are practicing which are contrasting to the words of the Bible and the life style of the early churches has been the concern of this poem. The poet is calling on the leaders of the church to revisit the areas of their doctrines that are contrary to the scripture and make amend
