The year of three sixty six days playing twenty - twenty,
Snatched away and gave something in plenty!
Arrived with a whammy naming it 'Covid',
Left everyone flabbergasted itself being vivid!!

Introducing the 'lock down' and 'Quarantine',
Washed away our happiness in no time!
'Stay Home' and 'Stay Safe' became the main objective,
'Cause for well- being this was more effective!!

Masks and sanitisers made lifestyle completely distinct,
But work from home made tasks complete in a blink!
Living under the pressure of pandemic's action,
We were wishing for its termination!!

Revealing the power of our real life heroes,
Who were moving through the troubles and the chaos!
Patience was drowning waiting for a 'Vaccine',
Losing half of the population our lives became hectic!

The year experienced us the days we'd never lived,
Thinking about these we'll always be thrilled!
May we never experience this whammy again,
And the upcoming year vanish all our pain!!

Adieu to the out of the blue and the painful year,
Welcoming twenty- twenty one let's make a happy new year!!
