Seasonal Thoughts

My favourite season of the year
Yet I dont want to feel lonely, thats my fear
I waited nine months for these showers to pour
But I feel warm in those gentle arms of yours

Thunder strikers like my heart beat does too
The wind blows as I fall asleep next to you
In a few days time the sun shines again
Flowers blossom despite the heavy rain

So does our love of autum leaves
Watching them fall from the trees
Reminds me of how I fell for you
I know you think Im crazy but this is true

I picture us saying I do on a sunny spring
Loving you more than my diamond ring
Than hold you tight in the come of fall
Well this is just my silly imagination after all
