My Road

That is my road
Which is blessed with the footsteps of the masses –
That is my road
Which runs through the body of my country
Across the villages and towns
Like a burning artery –
That is my road
Which wooed the path of pain
For the happiness of the world
That is my road
Which fights battles
Which tosses life like a plaything
Which wins, which loses
But moves forward –
That is my road
Where even chains throw challenges
Even defeat turns back and leaps like a flame
Where death resounds like an epic
That is my road
Come, walk, walk with me my loved ones
