Young Little Man

He woke up from his curious sleep with the
World of loads on his young head,
Hundred lives inclined on him
It was too heavy to hold.

But, he held them with all his strength,
Leaving behind adventures of youth
Trying to be the Hercules,
He decided to sacrifice his dreams
Fuelled by responsibilities
Hiding all the emotions,
He walked forward to live again.

It's not too far,
He will shine again And make us proud soon.

Poet's note: A family without a guardian, a young boy decides to take up all the responsibilities to make the lives better again. This is for a very close person of mine, none other than my brother. I want to express how I have seen my brother, the change in him for an incident, and the way he turned into a man from a boy in one day. This poem gives me hope and makes me proud for my brother.
