Time Flies
I dived really so deep
I didn't know it would fell this so steep
Here,
Feeling every inch of the ditch
Can hardly bite at a dish
Can hardly sneak at sleep
No matter the hustle, I still slip.
You truly got me knuckles off
No matter how I cluck,
You never will battle
You held me by wattles
Left me no peddle
No shadow.

Poet's note: I wrote this poem at the time when the one I loved left me and the feeling of disillusionment filling up my entirety.
It's about loss of belonging at a time when one had given up themselves for that fellow they feel at heart
