Free Will

Wandering lights preserve their ancient interpretation,
driven by the realm of shapes in lawful sensation.
Odysseus through exalted ways and by great example lead,
earth given stars surpassing every deed.
All things in views and all things one hears,
and yet the light cannot penetrate to pierce.
Eternal providence foreknows thought and desire,
for there will be no freedom of will entire.
Occurrence of the event cannot be avoided,
false opinions missing direction pointed.
Secret signs of truth with love so great,
knowing already what it seeks from the eternal mate.
Ignorance discern the hidden form,
separating the truth in still and storm.
The blindness in operation human reasoning,
cannot approach immediate divine deepening.
It remains absolute and infringed by necessity,
until the exercise of skill becomes the clarity.
