A Talk With My Heart
Heart, you begged me, to tell her how you feel
But I wouldn’t tell her, I had to know her love was real
I tried to watch over you, and protect you day and night
You begged me to let go, but I held on with all my might
I held off as long as I could, before I said I love you
And it tore our world apart, to find her with somebody new
I know that you blame me, for the pain deep within
I guess you have the right, she’ll never love us again
Music
All I can say is I’m sorry, that I let her love die
And the pain that you’re giving me, makes me sit and cry
So old heart if you stop beating, from the pain that’s inside
Then I won’t try and stop you, for my world’s also died
