To My Coy-mistress
Oh! my fair fairy don't fly away
Live here and let me love
You mingle in my mind and sway
Feathery fine flame of love let me save
Since I saw that small smudged bindi
Oh! lovely lassy I have lost sense
Let me praise smeared forehead small burgundy
Your genial gorgeous glow of face
I couldn't stop to adore your beauty
My minsel you are always in my prayer
I lend my ears when you speak
Oh! delicate don't shelter my heart in despair
To see your face I sneak
Oh! dear indeed, I am impatient to speak
I am impatient to speak.

Poet's note: This poem is written in praise of my love. when I saw her small bindi on her forehead I fell in love with her. the poem is about her grudging and coyness. I convinced her that I do listen your voice and I am always impatient to speak with you.
