Forbidden Forest

There is a tempest in the forest of my reason.
Leaves of all colours scatter about.
They are dry.
They are dead.
But full of colour.

I see the black hole.
I freefall headfirst into this portal.
On the other side I find myself gazing at the universe.

Suddenly, I am aware that the microcosm and macrocosm are one.
The knowledge I seek in my forest is out there.
