Child Of The Moon

Distant and enigmatic, you hide in your shell.
Embark on this journey with me, I assure you,
All will end well.

Your eyes are like the depths of the ocean.
Your gaze: it drowned me!
I resurfaced, gasped for air and looked at you.
Please tell me, what did you see?

My icecaps have melted.
I feel free. I feel awake.
Open your heart, give me your hand.
It will be sweet if it's give and take.
