Shooting Stars

Starring deeply at the sky,
A hope arose from within.
She started counting the stars,
One two..hundred...thousand.
A stuff bear held tight to her chest,
She went to an expedition.
She was indeed present there,
So close to the pole star.
Charmed by the beauty,
Her eyes were left awestruck.
Suddenly she heard a voice, and woke up.
Trembling she gave a timid sly at the sky.
There were shooting stars.
Waiting to fulfill her wish,
Examining her tiny little mind.
To bring back that innocent smile.
On that glorious night, a wish was made.
She drifted off to a delicious slumber.
Smiling prettily,
Tossing and turning over.
Deep in those stars conscience,
Went her wish to last forever.
