Lavenders swinging by under the tree shade,
Memories so special never to fade.
Wind that blows swiftly by the side,
Having made a choice to finally confide.
Today, with that new courage to try,
To give it the best shot and just fly.
There was that light shining so bright,
Someone had showed me a hopeful light.
As special as someone can ever be,
She gave me a positive insight to see.
No, she wasn’t just a mere fantasy,
That was my mentor smiling with ecstasy.
She had lifted me yet again from the dark,
Now, with joy on my journey ready to embark.
Grateful forever to my wonderful guiding star,
She’s the reason I could have come so far.
