Life Happened
She looked up,
For the first time in so long she smiled.
She made a pact with life,
Decided that yes it was time.
She wasn't ready to give up just yet,
Wanted to go all in one more time.
Maybe there was still a chance,
Maybe she could indeed this time.
For there was a lot ahead,
She turned that crumpled page after all.
Swinging by in lavender hues,
She was ready to conquer the sky.
