Irony

Once, a tree spoke to a little girl,
Doesn't the nature now seem bright as a pearl?
My tree, isn't it a irony to millions,
Polluted nature, free people, Clean nature, locked are millions.

Chirping birds, bright blue sky,
But, people now are scared even to blink an eye.
We worked hard to have pure air,
Now, are forced to mask ourselves and care.

My dear girl, it all comes for a cost,
Whether you wish purity or frost.
Our mother Earth fullfilled your one wish,
But you cannot have both salt and sugar in a dish.

Oh! Tree, spread your greenry around,
With your pure air our world is bound.
My dear angel, you just have faith,
Everyone will breath this fresh air, one very fine date.

Poet's note: Isn't this an irony? When the nature was so polluted, we used to roam freely, now that it's becoming clean, we have to wear masks..
