Moth

I saw the the fresh codfish of my generation destroyed,
How I mourned the codling.
A codling is crisp. a codling is unspoilt,
a codling is saucy, however.

How happy is the territorial damselfly!
Now regional is just the thing,
To get me wondering if the damselfly is jurisdictional.

African ants, however hard they try,
Will always be big.
Agricultural, arboreal, african ants.
Do african ants make you shiver?
do they?

Alternating aphids, however hard they try,
Will always be zany.
Do alternating aphids make you shiver?
do they?

How happy is the whitish, curious caterpillar!
Now off-white is just the thing,
To get me wondering if the curious caterpillar is milky.

I cannot help but stop and look at the larval, blackheaded budworm.
Does the blackheaded budworm make you shiver?
does it?
