No Love Anywhere

When they see the beauty in you,
They do all they can
All they can to have you.
When you give your all to them,
They find you useless then.

In the beginning,
They show you a love which is vast
But their affections do not last.
When they get all they want,
They turn their love into a crust.

Why can they only love for a short period?
They first make you feel special
And later they make you a fool.
We keep giving this a try always
Hoping to one day fall in the lovers' pool.

Everyone seems to behave like this
So I do wonder if love really exists.
If love is what they say it is,
Then there's no love anywhere
Because there's no one to give you this love.
