Sunshine

In the tapestry of life, you shone as sunshine,
A beacon of warmth, a tender soul so fine,
Though distance may stand between our embrace,
Your radiance fills every space.

In your eyes, the sun finds its home,
A brilliance that outshines whenever you roam,
Amidst the vastness, your voice rings true,
Guiding the moon to sing in the endless blue.

As time weaves its threads with tender care,
And life's burdens we learn to bear,
Your glow will endure, steadfast and kind,
Illuminating the path we both will find.

Even as years bring their gentle touch,
And our steps falter, our vigor not as much,
Your light will persist, undimmed by age,
A timeless flame on history's page.

Should fate, in its caprice, pull us apart,
Leaving only memories etched in the heart,
I hope you won't mind shining on to the next writers,
And in my absence, I'll find your traces in meters.

As seasons turn and years eagerly unfold,
Your presence, a delicious twofold,
In laughter and your gleaming smiles,
Above all, your name, your only name, Sunshine.

In the twilight days, when age takes its toll,
And our spirits seek solace, a comforting stroll,
In the symphony of life's unending song,
May your light still shine bright, where you belong.

So here's to you, my dearest sunshine so true,
A light that continues, without end,
Whose radiance brightens the skies of blue,
In every chapter, in every line, you'll be penned,
As the only one, the only one, Sunshine,
Con amor, Sunshine.
