Mind Chased Peace

Long ago, a brave hearted man took a decision
From everything seemed to be with no good vision
Nothing there was right, everyone needed to live peacefully, but they owned no right

Cries of pain and violence raised his anger,
Untrained man who was not much stronger,
He who didn't ever fought, tho he joined the army,
With the aim of rescuing and obtaining the lost peace to his county

When evil thoughts masked their minds,
Discrimination casted love feelings,
And the bad decision taken, led to the genocide
Like predator and prey, people hunted and killed others;
their neighbors, friends and their families
Blood flowed all over the country, blood of innocent people

But lately, the saviours came;
fought the battle, sacrificing themselves,
Fire on fire, they felt the burn but patriotism didn't let them back down
At the end, they won the battle, battle of ideology and guns,
And brought back the lost peace and love to their compatriots

"Glory be to patriots for their massive victory, we will keep this in memory," people said
They were shocked and sad for their lost people and properties,
But they decided to start a new life without discrimination ideology.

Poet's note: Message: ( Everyone knows about this, some people are from countries that have been facing this situation for so long ago and others are in countries that were safe in the same time. This was a dangerous situation ever been, it was like other wars but its uniqueness was that it was a genocide... Fighting with no opponents but victims who were innocent. But now we're safe, love is with us and peace is shining for everyone, That's all we have to keep and forget all about discrimination in any way. )
