"pain In Disdain"

Here's to the lonely girl,
waiting to let past the long day;
Hiding her tears behind the curl,
as there isn't too much to say.

May be that she expects too much,
maybe he doesn't love her that way;
Her tears roll out deep in the ocean,
Just look at the wet pillow on which she lay.

She took him too seriously,
loved him to the bottom of his heart;
She's trying very hard,
to keep the worrying feelings apart.

He doesn't know how much she tries,
her patience has drawn her insane;
May be that he's just busy,
Or is it his disdain?
