Free Me From Self

In the space between love and hate,
Where heart mourns in its prison,
Eyes in distress rain blood-red tears,
Soul craves to roll back, and walk to eternal light,
Away from its tomb of bones and flesh,
Away from the hustle and bustle of the noiseful world,
Walking alone to the realm of love and peace,
Leaving behind the lustrous passions, in relic,
The soul from its prison cries out to the overseeing lord:
'I was in you in eternity, remember your promise to me,
Call out my name, and make me free from self with one stroke
