The Unreachable Dream

I always wanted;
to be your source of happiness,
to be your other half,
to be your own mirror.
that you would turn to me
and all you would find
was the same feeling.

I always intended;
to be by your side to eternity,
to count stars with you every night,
to be the one next to your pillow every night,
to grow to have grey hair
and losing teeth together.

I always thought ;
I'll be the one walking down the aisle,
you would kiss me during ' kiss the bride'
I would inherit your name,
I would give you a diamond, a child.
you would give me a shoulder to lean on for eternity.

I was very wrong.
I was left to accept the fact that you love someone else.
you have a fiance and soon getting married.
How can I erase my dreams and expectations?
I can't stand your way any longer.
let me heal my bleeding heart and let you go.
though letting go has been my most painful decision to make

am left with nothing to my young heart but a pain to heal.
this is my unreachable dream.
