Better Without You

Sometimes I sit down
I recall the memories we made
remember the beautiful love we shared
the late nights we spent together
caressing, laughing and having fun
The care you always showed me
The happy moments we had
I feel like turning back
I wish to hold you again
I long to have you once more.
But when I pick my phone to call you
'you are better off alone'
says a voice from inside of me
With a sigh of relieving I say:
I am better without you
