You're The Most Important Person In My Life

You’re gorgeous as the flowers in springtime
Mother Nature preserved you for me
You’re the most important person in my life
And you’ll be my woman from this day on

My life was void and dreary without you
It’s no secret how much I’ve suffered
Sweetie, you took delight in showing up
When I was on the brink of giving up

Although you seldom utter a word,
It’s still a privilege to have you around
You have a physical attraction for me
And it gives me a satisfying feeling

If what I feel for you isn’t real love,
Why do I have eyes for no one but you?
And when you walk into the office,
Why does my heart pound this way?

I asked you to marry me and you said yes,
And I couldn’t help falling into a trance
The thought of you being my wife elated me
I was the most excited man in the world

Now I rarely tell you how I feel about you,
And I don’t say I love you as often as I should
If it’s not too late, I’ll start by saying,
You’re the most important person in my life
