You Don't Love Me

I’m sure you don’t love me the way I love you.
You don’t feel the passion for me that I feel for you.
And it doesn’t excite you when I hug your waist.
The love you speak of doesn’t show in your action.
You don’t even look like a woman who’s in love.
I’ve poured out my heart to you with tears,
But you never took me seriously or consoled me.

I can’t tell you why I love you because I don’t know;
Moreover, I don’t need a reason to love you.
Darling, I wish you could love me without a reason.
I’ve been holding on to this wishful love for some time.
Separation is the hardest thing to go through,
But I don’t want you to stay with me out of obligation.
If you don’t sincerely love me, end it right here.

I know you can’t control who you love or don’t love.
And I can’t force someone to desire me.
I wouldn’t program you to love me even if I could.
No, I’d rather you love me by your own choice.
My optimism diminishes as we slowly drift apart.
You won’t tell me that you’re not in love with me;
Nevertheless you fail to show me real love.

Why do you subject yourself to this torture?
I want to hear you say the sad words to me.
Tell me the truth; say you don’t love me anymore.
Darling, please don’t continue to be in denial.
I’ll never feel that I’ve wasted my love on you.
Although you don’t love me the way I want you to,
I’ll preserve all my love for you when you leave.
